In 2011, I went to Cambodia for my grad trip. Initially, all I wanted to see was Angkor Wat but I found love, peace and happiness in the streets of Cambodia.
Here are some of the memories, captured through the lens of my camera, that I wanted to share with you guys.
I have thought a lot about what I want to say about Cambodia but I’ll just let the pictures do the talking.
The photos are so stunning! Whoever took these must have been an absolute god behind the camera!
ha! lol
Beautiful and very calming. Thank you for sharing.
You are welcome! which one is your favorite?
I really like the one where you see the back of the statue and it looks like it is raining. I also like the one where the woman is sitting in front of the building. It looks like she is meditating or just taking in the beautiful scenery..
Gorgeous. Thank you for sharing these photos!
one day I hope to make it there too
I hope you do and when you do, say hello to Cambodia for me! It’s such a wonderful place!
I will
Lucky girl! I hope I can find a way there some day. Many places in Asia and I’ve never been. Nice job capturing this.
Your pictures are mesmerizing! How do you do this?
What graceful structures, and beautiful images! ~ Sheila
I am glad you like them!
Great shots. Looks like a great place to visit.
definitely! I think you will love it!
What’s with the Monk doing a Spiderman pose?
lol the last one? haha he was just chilling I suppose! I have a lot of pictures of the monks! They love being photographed and somehow they always manage to smile! Maybe I should post them on riatarded for your viewing pleasure!
You should, what do they have to be upset about anyway? They have a life with no stress, I’d be smiling too if I worked/lived there
Amazing photos, Ria!
Thank you MJ! you know, since you shifted to wordpress.org, it’s been so hard to keep track of your replies to my comments on your site :/
I thought you were the tech wizard, Ria! hehe
All the pictures are incredible! But must say, the last one is just….. wowza. The monk dude is just gazing up the sky and thinking deep thought of some Buddha thing.
Great job!
I also like the one with the monk perched atop the building. He does seem lost in thought. All in all, excellent work.
Beautiful! This first and last ones in particular are spectacular.
